Tigran Muradyan was born on 1984 in Yerevan, Armenia.
Lives in Basel, Switzerland.
Studies:
Tigran Muradyan graduated with Honours from Moscow State Conservatory after P. Tchaikovsky (class of professor N.Shakhovskaya). He continued his studies in the class of professor I. Monigetti and earned the Master of Music degree (with Honours) from Basel Music Academy. He also obtained a Master degree in Music Pedagogy (with Honours) from Zurich University of Arts.

Orchestra experiences:
Since 2010 Mr. Muradyan is a member of Argovia Philharmonic Orchestra.
He is a substitute cellist at Bern Symphony Orchestra.
He is also a substitute cellist at Orchestre du Chambre de Lausanne and at Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.
In 2007-2008 he was the Principal Cello of the Moscow Chamber Orchestra Hermitage.
In 2002-2007 he was the Principal Cello of the constant orchestra of Moscow Conservatory.

Concerts:
He has toured extensively with recitals in France, Switzerland, Norway, Greece, USA, Canada and many other countries. He has performed in such prestigious halls as The Grand Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Swiss conservatory halls in Bern, Zurich, Music Academy of Basel, Salle Pleyel, Saint - Jermain (Paris) George Weston Recital Hall in Ottawa, Lindeman (Oslo), Miranda Theatres (Portugal), University of Beirut, Therm Ruins (Lebanon), concert halls of Athens and Thessaloniki(Greece), Kaunas (Lithuania), Glendale (US) to name a few.

2007 - winner of the T.Gaidamovich International Competition in Magnitogorsk, first prize and four special diplomas

Mr. Muradyan attended Zurich master classes of Eberhardt Finke, former principal cellist of Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra (2000), Nataniel Rosen, professor of the University of Southern California (2008, Portugal) as well as master classes of professors T. Gaydamovich and A. Bonduriansky.

Mr. Muradyan has a vast experience of performing a varied repertoire with numerous orchestras in Europe and abroad, including Odessa Symphony Orchestra, Lvov Chamber Orchestra (Ukraine), solo performance with the Orchestra Concertino Basel (Switzerland), Symphonic Orchestra of Basel Academy, P. Tchaikovsky Orchestra of Moscow State Conservatory, State Philharmonic Orchestra at Caucasus Mineral Watersunder, Lipetsk Municipal Orchestra, Yaroslavl Governor's Academic Symphonic Orchestra, Academic Symphonic Orchestra of Nizhniy Novgorod, Folk Orchestra of Cherepovets, State Symphonic Orchestra of Ulyanovsk, Symphonic Orchestra of Togliatti (Russia), the State Symphonic Orchestra of Armenia and others.

Tigran Muradyan has given numerous recitals on radio and TV. He has been the principal invited guest of a number of radio stations, such as "Voice of America", "Freedom", "Echo of Moscow", TV channels, national radio stations of Norway, France, Canada and Lithuania. In 1999 he performed at the UNESCO World Conference, Paris. His recitals have been recorded on CDs and DVDs.
